Controlling access to the internal network by outsiders

By spork ·
There are a large number of outside workers bring their private laptops for their work whom are employed by our company. Currently there is no way of controlling guest computers connecting to our network. Can anyone suggest a way to control their access to specific area. I mean like in VLAN s. Do I have to create multiple VLAN s or can I do this with just subnetting ? If so please tell me how ? Thanks.
