Controlling Internet Explorer Settings

By 231enter ·
I'm supporting an environment of about 4000 users, and have been given the task to come up with the best way to control the internet explorer settings on a users workstation. My first choice would be using group policy, but just wanted to know if anyone is using another schema or a hybrid(ie-group policy and IEAK) configuration to control internet explorer settings.

Controlling Internet Explorer Settings

by laurent.coffinet In reply to Controlling Internet Expl ...

Controlling Internet Explorer by using IE GPO (Inetres.adm) is the best choice. You can modify any settings very easily.

You can control your choices and results with GPMC (Consol of Microsoft of policy of group).

If you can?t do what you want (option isn't defined in IE GPO), no problem:
1-You must find the register key
2-Create your .adm file with this register key (open .adm file for exemple)
3-Make a test
