Controlling ports in IIS 3 Management Co

By Visar ·
I am trying to give users passing through the Proxy 1 server(not using MSPCNT)access to titles such as AOL IM, irc, Icq, MS chat, and RealPlayer content. Even though the permisions are set to allow users and the groups they belong to are set to each protocol. The above programs cannot find a route to host. Any information or examples woud be appreciated.

Controlling ports in IIS 3 Management Co

you should use the winproxy client, otherwise you will end up with 100's of filter settings that you will have to keep up with, in addition, the ports if manually mapped, won't close after use and are a security risk, there really isn't any good reasons to not use the winsock proxy client,

Thank you for the post! jer
