What would be the best way to convert MOS listings in .idx format to Access .db format files?

Access does not show an idx file type for use with the "get external data" import function. That means you have to translate your idx file to something Access recognizes. I would try to export the idx as comma delimited and the use the transfertext macro function to import the data to a table.
An alternative is to export your idx file to an excel spreadsheet, lotus 123, or some other file type and then import it. whatever you do, you will have to make the intermediate step to a format both recognize.

A little extension: What I actually want to accomplish is take raw data in a couple of text files and import them to mySQL to automatically publish it on a web site.
