Converting from IE to Firefox using AD and Group Policy

By scottara2 ·
Hi, I am new to Firefox, so, please excuse my ignorance.

I'm working in a win2000 environment and am used to making use of AD&GP when it come to managing IE.

I would like to be able to manage Firefox with Active Directory and Group Policy as well.

Is this possible?
If so, are there any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

You can download some "community made" ADM files for Firefox, just do a google search on Firefox + ADM.

The only way to deploy an application using AD&GP is if you have an MSI installer package. There are no Mozilla "approved" msi's, so you'll either have to create one or also find it somewhere out there.
