Hi there

There are plenty of third party XML convertors...try this one

Good Luck

That recomendation really worked fine, but something I did not comment:

I need to convert this XML files in our Unix system, so that means we need a "Unix ncommand" or an "External Unix utility", because we need to put this "command" or "utility" into a Unix script and then must run automatically in a crontab process.

I really appreciate your help, but if you know or recommend anything else for our Unixs system that will be great.

Best regards.

why not use the recode utility that is on most unix systems?
it's exactly what it's designed for.

the software page where you'll find links to getting it.

gnu-linux app, but ported to hpux I believe.

according to freshmeat project description, it's more focussed on charactersets, but I know you can change formatting as well.

btw, any text editor can read xml files as-is, the xml is only markup in ascii text sprinkled throughout the file.
