Cookie Problem.... losing my mind.....

By SteveDave ·
Alright, this doesn't make any sense to me at all, but I have to ask....

I'm placing cookies to keep track of a user's login name, and it is working for all of my customers except for 2 in Europe. Both are using IE 5.5, and both have all the settings correct to accept cookies...

There isn't some kind of special workaround that I have to use to set cookies in Europe is there? I've never heard of that, but it's the only thing I can think of....

Any sort of advice at all would be appreciated...

Is a proxy involved?

by Jay Eckles In reply to Cookie Problem.... losing ...

If both of the users are on the same network, it's conceivable that they're behind the same proxy server, and that proxy is intercepting the cookies (why someone would set up a proxy server that way, I don't know). If that's the case, there's really not much you can do.
