I’ve got Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo M7440 laptop. I think it started, when I upgraded BIOS from www.fujitsu-siemens.com . And the problem is: my normal CPU temp. is ~50C, when I load some programs, which need some CPU, my CPU temperature goes up till ~70C, and very often FAN is too late to turn up and when it reaches ~85C, system powers off immediately.
I download “Notebook Hardware Control” and found out this ACPI Thermal Zone information:
Active Cooling Temp. 0 : 63C;
Active Cooling Temp. 1 : 49C;
Critical Temp. : 84;
Passive Cooling Temp. : 73.
Aren’t these cooling temps too high? And how to reduce them? Or maybe other suggestions ?
