Coompany email mailbox setup

By jharold ·
Have a client in Las Vegas that has a web site and mailboxes, wiht his own domain from a web host in New Jersey. He just got a DSL line in his Las Vegas Office and wants to set up his employees email accounts from the Webhost on their workstation. How does one configure this. He is running an NT Server, and the workstations are a mixed of 95/98 platforms. Can someone please give me what is the best way to get his workers their email. By the way his DSL is thru SPRINT/Earthlink, with a dynamic IP address.

If the client is not planning on having a local mail server, you can just configure the mail client on the desktop (Outlook?) to point to the Web host's e-mail server and it will pull down the mail to the desktop across the DSL Internet connection.
From the Web host, you'll need the server names (1 for POP3, 1 for SMTP although they might be the same) and the usernames and passwords for each e-mail account. In Outlook, go to Tools, Services, Add then choose Internet e-mail and enter the information listed above.
