Copy an Entire solaris DVD to HD

By rlblake ·
i used the command provided by SUN Documentation:

# find . -depth -print | cpio -pdm /var/tmp/dvd

This has been running for over 7 days now and is nowhere to being half complete.
is there a FASTER method of copying the full
Solaris 10 DVD to the HD?
Thank U for a prompt reply!
