Copy Drop Down Choice to a Cell in a worksheet

I created a DropDown box in a Dialog Sheet and have it set to read the values from a work sheet. When I click “Enter” Button I would like it to take the text out of the DropDown box and add it to the active cell in another work sheet.

This is in Excel 2000 using a macro. My code is:
MExplnText = DialogSheets(“masterd”).DropDowns(“MExplnDD”).Text

I get a Run Time Error.

Any examples of code would be helpful!
