Copy files in DOS

By Daz'n'Ash ·
Is there a way to copy files from one HDD to another, perhaps even from CD to another location or to floppy disk in DOS mode?

You can try using 'xcopy' command to do copying. It is much better then using 'copy' command.
For further instruction, key-in this '/?' at the end of the command.

Example:
c:\xcopy . d: /s
Where the :
. for all the files in c:
d: destination
/s copy directories and subdirectories not the empty one

Hope this is helpful to you.

Okay, the BIOS seems to be sorted out, but still have the same problem whereinstallation of Win2K won't go past Setup is now starting Windows 2000 Professional. Any suggestions? HDD is new, Windows 2000 will install when the HDD is installed on another system.
