Copy-Paste Office2003

By m.graft ·
Hello!
I receive Word documents which contains data that I need to copy and paste in my Excel sheet. My Excel sheet has the font setting to (Arial and the Word Document has the (TimeNewRomans 12).What I basically need to know is when I copy and paste from Word to Excel the text is automatically converted to the destination font setting without having to use the Paste Special option, is that possible?

Greetings,
Manuel

If smart tags are on, then you can just copy and paste as normal. When you paste into Excel, a small "paste" icon should appear the the bottom right-hand corner of the data you pasted. If you hover over this icon, then click the small arrow next to it you should be able to choose between source and destination formatting.

I already found out about that, but the user was looking for something different which should work directly after the past. In spite of that thanks for the response. Manuel
