What do you mean by permanent?

I copy a lot of files, basically synchronizing users' mydox in Win98 clients, and I usually just use 'xcopy /d'

Oops, sorry for the delay. Perhaps I didn't make myself clear. I was looking for the switch that you use to permanently copy setup files/folders. The /rx[:folder] switch copies folders but the folders are deleted after setup. The /r[:folder] switch INSTALLS the folders at setup...these folders remain after setup finishes (This is the one I was looking for). However, I am going to accept your answer and give you the points because you did answer the question the way it was worded the fist time.

Thanks So Much
