Hello, i just downloaded some video files in the .ogg format, and am running out of space on my hard drive, so i decided to burn the files onto a data dvd. the problem is that when i try to copy the file, it says “there is extra information that may be lost during the transfer,” so i clicked “ok,” like i do with my .mkv and .ogm files(which copy just fine). After that, it tries to copy, then pops up saying “windows could not copy the selected files.” What could be the problem?
I tried checking the attributes of the files, and all were unhidden and writable, the videos work and are recognized by my computer as video files, and there is DEFINATELY enough space on the dvd (im copying 2.9 GB to a 4.7 GB dvd). I would just like to know if this problem is common, and if it is my computer, a user error, or just the files. Thank you in advance for any help you have to offer.
