By mopal ·
Without reinventing the wheel, does anyone have a corporate laoptop policy they would be willing to share or any suggestions as to what to include in one?

Don't let strangers on and be careful what employees you let on.

Long story short? MAC filter the laptops and only allow those MACs on a specified VLAN.

Did you try Client Policy Manager from Websense?

I like to keep them short and sweet.

1. The equipment belongs to the company. The equipment is provided to perform company business.

2. No unauthorized software is to be installed on the computer.

3. Passwords and or password keyfobs will be supplied by the company.

4. Persons attempting to bypass or defeat passwords and or password keyfobs are subject to termination.

When in doubt refere to #1.

Good Luck
