Hi I seem to have a very strange problem, when a user receives email attachments from a client all the attachments seem corrupt. the filesizes still look correct and if you force a xls file to open there is some data there, it’s just very scrambled. we have never received a usable attachment from this client including PDF, word and excel files. We have managed a way around it by getting the client to email to a hotmail\personal account and then forward the email to the company email address, doing this the attachments are fully readable. No other clients have ever had this issue and using another company address doesn’t help either.
We are using mailmarshal, Outlook 2003 and sophos virus scanner.
