Our domain controller had an error. It seems the WINS database was corrupt. All that was required was to install service pack 6a. I did this. The WINS came back up as corrupt. I attempted the fix from WINS Manager. This does not work. I trieddeleting log files under the appropriate WINS directory and doing the net start wins.
This does not work either. It does not produce anything. I have saved all the log files that were in the WINS folder so I can put them back.
What can I do? I have several hundred people who’s e-mail won’t run.
PLEASE HELP.
