I have a customer who brought me her computer to re-load. She thought she had backed everything up but right after I finished loading the new OS she contacted me and stated she forgot some files. OK, no huge deal right? There’s software out there to recover data. So I purchased Stellar Phoenix Data Recovery, worked great it found all the data but the data is corrupt. Mainly the office doc’s and pdf’s. So here is my question, is there any software out there that could assist in un-corrupting the data? I have used Office Recovery 2008 but have had no luck.
Anyone else with some suggestions?
