I am working on an hp dv6000 laptop for a friends hard drive which crashed. When i try to install xp i get an error Could not find hard drive. i did a search and found the problem is that b/c the hard drive is a sata xp doesn’t have the drivers pre installed.
Does anyone know of a way to fix this, or where i can find a restore disk to download so i don’t have to pay $16 through HP?
P.S after being on chat with HP for 2 hours they where no help.
