CPU Running at 100%

By ljackson.desoto ·
I need some direction on how to find out why my CPU is running at 100%. I eventually look at the task manager and see this and shut down all running applications, but the CPU still is saying it is running at 100% and I have to shut down to recover. Any ideas?

I think it's acting like this because of the MS04-011 patch, that has some documented problems (you can read about the problems here: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=841382)

To get more information: In your task manager find out what process is using up all of your cpu resources. This will help to pin point the problem. If you don't know what the process does enter it into google. You'll probably be able to get some good info from that.
