CPU Spikes

I have a Windows 2K Server box with MS SQL 2K running on it a nothing else. But every so often, the CPU spikes which slows all connections to it, and whatever it’s doing. I’m having the hardest time trying to find out what is causing the spikes. Any suggestions?
