Crash Hard Disk

I have windows 2000 installed on my hard disk.The
problem is that it's file system is crashed.I have run a tool chkdsk.exe,but it is not able to solve this problem.In it's 3rd phase it gives me an error "Unable to set security settings".
So pl. anyone can give me any trick or name of any utility which can solve this.

My Friend, Use norton utilities in order to overcome the HDD FAT problems.

You may have to boot from win2k cd and run recovery
usualy it works
in some cases its easyer to backup hardrive and reinstall win2k
