crashed server.

our windows 2003 server crashed.
i seized the fsmo roles...cleaned up ad...

i still see the crashed server in active dir sites and services?

under default 1st site?

can i just right click and delete this bad server?

depends upon which server it is. You may have seized the FSMO roles but the root serverwhat server was it. Was it the first server at the root and did you have certificate services running?

It should be alright as long you can see all your other servers. If the bad server is a physical server not just old rubbish in AD, disconnect the bad server first, If that hs no negative effect on your network you should be sweet.
