This is a windows XP question but there is not a catagory for it.

How do I get the Microsoft .net passport to stop automatically loading when I log on to the PC?

Hi,

You have two options here….

1. Get a .NET passport. Its not such a bad thing… or…

2. Just wait a while – through a few more reboots. Eventually XP stops asking the question.

From the sound of it, it sounds like you’re talking about the MSN Messenger (in the system tray). What you can do is launch the Messenger and in the options/configuration you can tell the program to not launch at login.
