RedHat Linux 6.x, kernel 2.2.19. Installation and running ok. But I have a SCSI card and a SCSI disk. To get the card up, it was not a problem. But when it came to do “mount /dev/sda1 /dev/sdisk -t ext2” the message was that there is no device sda1.The same when I was (once, in the past) trying to add and ATAPI CDROM as SCSI (with the emulation). MAKEDEV exists, but checking it was helpless. And I could not find a HOWTO or something similar about “How to create a new device for the sistem” (which later would be mounted! and used).
