i’m running a win 2000 pro workstations every time i follow the instructions on how to change a administrator user profile to all users from the win 2000 manual i lose all the settings i setup in the admin. profile i will install win 2000 pro, then install all updates from the win 2000 site, then install all the software that we need on the machines for our business all logged in as the administrator after i have done all this i go to the user profiles and copy the admin profile to the “all users” folder and then change the “permitted to use” from administrator to everyone when i do this all the programs that i installed disappear from the start-programs button and all the desktop icons that i had from the programs that i had installed disappear what’s going wrong? or should i have done all the updates first, then copy the profile, then added the programs or what should i do, i have done this god knows how many times and i end up with the same result the manual is not to hard to follow, it is pretty self explanatory.
