I created a dual boot system by adding XP to a Vista setup. There were some challenges in doing that, but I finally had everything working well. I shut down the pc and the next day Vista had changed the drive letter for XP from H to F. I know how to remap the drive, but can’t do it in this case because another device is now the H drive – it is one of the installed SD card slots. When I go to device management, the H drive doesn’t show so I can’t rename that (the SD card slot) to another drive – which means I can’t rename the XP drive from F to H. How can I fix this problem? Is there a spot I can rename the SD card slot? Or is there a registry entry I can change or a file I can edit?
