I am currently working on figuring out how to create a bootable disk for windows xp. The workstations i am dealing with do not have Floppy drives, only CD drives. I need to figure out a way to create a disk that will boot to a chkdks and need to keep end user involvement to a minimum. I basically need to run scan with fix option to correct software errors on HD when the sytem will not boot up. Please let me know if this is possible or if anyone can think of a workaround.
oh and i do not have windows recovery disks as an option….
