creating a prompt before login...

How do I create a prompt that pops up when a user hits ctrl+alt+del before they are allowed to type in the username and pass they are required to click ok...

You will need to create a Registry Key. This is what I did:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"LegalNoticeCaption"=""
"LegalNoticeText"=""

Created and saved as .reg
Double-click on the file after creation and it should ask you to save to registry.....Good Luck

You will need to add

REGEDIT4

at the top of the page...oh yeah-use notepad to write this

You can do that in local security settings in the admin tools... Go to local policies, security options and exit the options:
Message text for users attempting to log on and Message title for user attempting to log on.

I think you can also set this in AD so you will only have to do it once in your domain...

If you are using XP professional go Control panel - user accounts - advanced tab and check off secure login.
