creating bootable disk image using ghost 9 or drive image 7 (2003)

I own both and they’re ok but I’m now fonding that the repairs, upgrades, etc are more time consuming. I’ve FINALLY realized the need for standard image builds. I can’t find an option in either of the programs to make a bootable image file, SO I came to the experts. All assistance is welcome. Thank you all in advance.
