I have a new server with 2 separate 18gb drives with no RAID controller. They show up as 2 separate disk drives, disk0 and disk1. I installed 2000 Pro on disk0 with a 4gb system partition. What I would like to do is combine the remainder of disk0, about 12gbs, and all of disk1, 18gbs, into one 30gb partition or volume. Is this possible? I’m having problems with this cause when I convert disk0 to a dynamic disk it doesn’t work. I end up rebooting and getting the message that the ntloader files are missing…..or something like that. I also tried selecting the remainder of disk0 and then try to convert to dynamic and I get the same thing. In theory, what I’m trying to do is create one dynamic disk with the remainder of disk0 and disk1. I get the feeling though that this can’t be done with the disk containing the system partition. What do you think?
