Creating Global POP3 mailbox

by anjam_sohail . Updated 24 years, 6 months ago

I have Exchange 2000 server hosting domain abc.com hanging on the end of a leased line. Things are working fine. We have just aquired a company which is located out in the sticks and don’t have a permenant Internet connection, the do have SBS with aPOP3 mail connector. I would like to set up a domain xyz.com and point the MX records to my exchaange 2000 box where all mail addressed to xyz.com would be collected in one mailbox and then the SBS server at this remote branch can dial up every hourusing the POP3 connetor and pick up all mail in this global POP3 mailbox and the distribute it locally. The question is how do I set up exchange to put all mail for xyz.com into one mailbox so it can be “POPed” ? Setting up the Remote SBS server should be no problem.
