Creating Logon Scripts

I’ve been looking everywhere, but I haven’t found a guide on creating and using logon scripts in a Windows 2000. I’d like to be able to map drives based on Group membership and user needs. Also I may need to run antivirus updates for Norton. Doesanyone know where such a resource may be, or do I need to review several different documents?
