I am trying to create a network bootdisc for a Acer Veriton pro 3900 using Ghost Solution Suite 2.0 without much luck.
The Veriton has a 82655 Intel DM Gigabit Nic card which is the issue. Have downloaded the DOS drivers for the nic and added them to the “new template wizard” in GSS and configured the drive mapping boot disc accordingly. However the machine fails to boot from the disc (client is set up correctly) error msg – HD – Boot disc error
Have configured a drive mapping boot disc for a HP7700 (same nic) without any problems using same process….HAS ANYONE OUT THERE CREATED A NETWORK BOOT DISC FOR THIS DAMMED ACER MACHINE??
