    creating virtual directory

    i made some applications in asp.net,after that due to some reason i had to format my PC.i have simply copied the copy of those projects in the ‘wwwroot’ folder.now those projects do not get loaded in MS development environment.
    error is “the path does not exist”. what should i do to load those projects?

      You probably have to create a virtul directory again and repoint the application home diretory folder to your wwwrootfolder\appfolderhome. Another solution is to create new projects and copy and paste or add the project files from the original projects this will auto set up iis virtual directories.
