Creative Labs File Won't Self Extract
Audigy 2 ZS audio card driver by downloading
the file SBAX_WBup2_LB_2_09_0016.exe from both
the Creative Labs site and other sites that list
it. In all cases, the self extraction process
stops after a few seconds during the CRC check
process with a file error message.
I have tried to obtain help from Creative, but
have received nothing but some "boiler plate"
responses from them. Do these people know how
to read?
The card works fine, but the client wants the
latest driver and I concur. The driver was issued this past October.
I have checked the file separately with WinZip
8.0 and it tells me that something is wrong with
file. I can't believe that after three months,
Creative hasn't done something to correct this!
I really don't want to call Creative and spend
$12.95 to argue with customer service about a
file of theirs that appears to be corrupted.
Any gentle recommedations would be appreciated.
By the way, you guys are absolutely terrific!
Happy New Year!
