Last night, during the rash of storms in the midwest, we went into the basement during tornado warnings. And of course the power went out and all of our flashlights with good batteries were in the camper. To keep our 2 year old from freaking out, I ran upstairs and grabbed our laptops. A laptop makes a great emergency lighting device. the battery life is about 3 hours and it provides just enough ambient light to keep the kids semi-normal.
What other ways has anyone used a laptop outside of normal usage.
