I have a Dell PC (Dimension 4300) running Windows XP and an IBM Thinkpad (240) running Windows 2000 Pro. Both have functional serial ports. I’d like to be able to transfer files from my PC to my laptop. DOES a crossover able connect to the serial ports on each computer? Is there any special configuration that needs to be done? Where can I purchase a crossover cable?
