    Crystal Reports and Pivot Tables

    My application uses Crystal 8.5 for reporting, I would like to create a report using excel pivot tables. How?

      If you are using crystal to report, there is a change that you have a ODBC connection already setup.

      If that is the case, simple load excel and choose

      Data, Get external data souce, Create new query.

      Select the fields you want and the data will then be displayed in excel for you to create a pivot table with.

      I am making some assumptions about the answer you are looking for, please correct me if I am wrong
