Crystal Reports Check Writer

By web2ohyeah ·
I have been trying to find examples of Crystal Reports written expressly for printing Checks and Stubs for various paper formats. So far I have come up with a solution for Laser Checks in the Stub-Check-Stub format that at this time only prints details to the top stub, prints "VOID" on the check area if the stub info requires more than one form, and then finally prints the Check.
I am having trouble with Line (Dot Matrix) checks that are only 7" page length, Stub-Check. Crystal insists on including a Page Footer in every report and there doesn't seem to be a way to disable the NewPageAfter command in the footer. This results in an eject of 11" for standard paper thus putting the printing out of sync with the form. Crystal Tech support says to create a Custom page type of 7" length, but not all Line Printer drivers support custom length (i.e. IBM Proprinter). Any ideas?
