I am trying to generate a CSR to submit to the third party CA. I have tried to find how to generate a CSR on a system w/o IIS installed. When following instructions of using the Certificates snap-in, but the “Generate Certificate” option is not available. Is it feasible to temporarily install IIS 6.0 in order to generate the CSR to submit or is there another option that is available?
