    Curved monitors

    by ozeger ·

Are there any actual advantages to curved monitors or are they just curved to look cool?

      Read about it in https://www.cdw.com/content/cdw/en/articles/hardware/pros-and-cons-curved-monitors.html

If you’re (nearly) convinced, rent one for a month to try before buying one.

I have used a Samsung Odyssey for about 2 years and definitely prefer it over a standard flat screen. It does give you a wider view without increasing the phsyical desk space dramitically. Not a deal breaker either way, but especially useful if you read a lot of text regularly or are an online gamer. As much as I thought I would pay extra, I got a 32 inch curved display for about $150 back then.

I believe they just look cool. The main reason people argue that they’re better is it’s easier to look at.
