Hi all, my first post here but I?ve been around for awhile, this site has been a good source of information. I’m hoping someone can help me with this.
I work at a school that has roughly 600 computers in it. All running XP Pro, with the servers running Win2k3. Whoever had my job before me seemed to enjoy enforcing windows classic theme on all the pupils. I can understand using this for administration profile but for the students I feel XP theme would provide a better environment to work in.
I’ve found the group policy property in User Config > Administrative Templates > Control Panel > Display > Desktop Theme called “Load a specific visual style file or force Windows Classic”
I’ve entered the path to the luna theme which loads the default blue XP theme. However, if possible I’d like to change this to the silver/metallic version of this theme. Does anyone know how I can do this via group policies… I don’t really feel like running around all the schools to change the theme selection.
