In april my company put in a firewall for one of our customers, and it seemed to work flawlessly untill about 3 weeks ago. Customer calls me stating that they are losing internet access every 5 min.
I was able to remote into the fire wall and the up time was only a minute or so, and it continued to restart every few minutes.
Error and restart logs showed nothing except: “watchdog rebooting”
I went to the customers physical location, reset to factory defaults and firmware.. reloaded firmware, but it continued to restart.
At this point i assumed bad hardware and replaced the unit, installed the replacement unit on Monday, but 1 week later we are having the same issue.
Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions for this issue?
