I have a small home network using a D-Link DI-524 router connected to the Net with a HughesNet satellite modem. I have 2 desktops cabled into the router and a desktop using a wireless connection. My problem is that when my harddrive crashed and burned on one of the desktops, I replaced it with a new harddrive and re-installed WinXP Home sp2 on the new drive. Now the desktop refuses to recognize the router. I have checked the cable, NIC, IP addresses, the ports on the router etc. If I cable it directly to the HughesNet modem it works fine, but it will not recognize the router no matter what I do. Does anyone have any suggestions?
