Hi all, I recently got an old motherboard from a friend. I can confirm that all parts are working, as I have already started windows using them. Right after installing windows XP, I entered into XP, and everything seemed dandy. When I turned it off to switch the graphic card, once I tried to turn it back on, the fan turned briefly and the LED showed that everything was getting power. Then, the fan suddenly stops turning and the LED is still showing that the motherboard is getting power. I can confirm that it is not the graphic card, as I had used it before installing Windows Xp on the new computer. Please help!
Here is computer info:
Pentium, 2.4 Ghz model.
Windows XP
Intel D875PBZ motherboard.
Radeon 5400 graphics card.
No sound card installed yet.
30GB hard drive.
768mb RAM.
Not sure about the power supply, but I am positive it has more than enough power. I used the power supply to power the computer for a long time while installing windows.
Please help!
I know that the parts all work, and my friend had just used them recently!
