Dam this new site is lame, How do I sort by Question? or get questions only

By NZ_Justice ·
New sites are supposed to be better not worse, this is the one time I will ask the TR too read feedback and make improvments based on what people are saying, cuz now that you have made your site crap anything will make it better.

It looks good though.

Hey NZ!

The redesign is being kinda a PITA for a lot of folks- very different from what we were used to.

To filter questions only, go to the fourth tab- "Browse". Select a tag such as networking. You will see a listing of EVERYTHING in that tag. At the top of the page you will see an option to filter by discussion or filter by question.

There is not, to my knowledge, a place other than that where ALL open questions are located.

Notice the tags. If you wanted to open JD's "User wants porn" as a question, you could file it in BOTH Windows and Security. Or under Windows, Security, and Network. That means that you will see questions that may fall into more than one category.

I know that the change is difficult. We are all having some frustration with it. We desperately need a FAQ... but don't have one. I'm trying but I am trying to do it as I am learning myself.

Hang in there!

4 Steps

Hi,

They did change nearly everything.

To look at new questions, you need to go through 4 steps.

Click on the Forums Heading in the Title Bar.
Click on the New Threads tab.
Scroll down and click on View All.
Near the upper right of the page is a Filter Section. Click on Questions.

Save the bookmark and you can now go straight to new questions.
