Data Extract in Excel

By vanderwh ·
I have a spreadsheet populated with employee data such as name, ID number, address, contact details, etc. All populated as one line per employee. I need to extract this info to another sheet for printing purposes; say 5 employee?s info per page, but in a different format. These pages should then be printed one after the other, five employees per page. Appreciate if someone could help?

May I suggest Word?

I think easiest route forward would be to play with mailmerge.
Depending on office version, mailmerge works in very different ways. In most cases, though, it is ok to use Excel as the data source.

(In mail merge, the magic function to get 5 posts in one page is a field with a name like "next")

This can be done in Excel, but I guess you'd need to do some programming in VBA...
