    database of client PCs/Laptops

    Do you know of a software that helps IT administrators keep track of client PCs; scheduled maintenance, software versions, locations, etc.? I manage ~70PCs/laptops and need a “better mousetrap”! Thanks!

      It covers most of what you’re looking for and it’s pretty reasonable. It also includes a great remote control app.

      You can try using Spiceworks, it has many other features that might be useful to you including helpdesk plug-in, reports, network mapping, hardware & software control. Try it out completely free. The community is starting to get larger so more people are providing write ups and useful tips.
